"I am a family medicine physician who has served the needs of patients in Tallmadge and the surrounding communities for the last 30 years. I love what I do and consider it a privilege to care for people who come to me for help. I received my undergraduate degree from Harvard University, a medical degree from the University of Cincinnati, and family medicine training at Akron City Hospital. I am board certified in family medicine and a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society.
Over the course of my career, I have seen medicine evolve at a rapid pace. Keeping up with those changes have been challenging, exciting, and ultimately rewarding. Despite the complexity of today’s healthcare system, I believe there has never been a better time to practice medicine. Much of what I do now involves being a teacher and advocate for my patients as they strive for wellness.
My wife and I live in Stow and have two adult children. Our passion has always been to serve the healthcare needs of people living in poverty in the name of Christ. That desire has taken us throughout Central America, Haiti, and the Dominican Republic well as here in the Akron area. To that end, in 2012 we started Faithful Servants Care Center, an all-volunteer organization providing free care to uninsured patients."
