"Dr. Donnelly has dedicated her career to the treatment of skin cancer and photo-aging. Dr. Donnelly is the owner and Medical Director of Dayton Skin, which opened in 1998. She completed her internship at Northwestern University Medical Center and completed a residency in dermatology at the University of Illinois. Dr. Donnelly obtained her board certification in 1994 from the American Board of Dermatology. She completed her fellowship in Mohs, Laser, and Dermatologic Surgery in 1995 at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Donnelly served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at Rush-Presbyterian-St Lukes Medical Center in Chicago until 1997. After moving to Ohio, she became the Director of Mohs and Dermatologic Surgery for Wright State University.
Dr. Donnelly has trained the WSU residents for the last 24 years. In addition, she has one of 75 fellowship programs for micrographic surgery in the United States. She has trained 17 micrographic surgery fellows. Dr. Donnelly has served on various committees for the Mohs College, the professional organization for all fellowship-trained Mohs surgeons. She is president and founder of iTASC, a 501(c)3 that connects under-served skincare patients with a micrographic surgeon through a web-based platform. Dr. Donnelly was voted Best Mohs Surgeon in the Dayton area by Dayton Magazine in 2021. Dr. Donnelly was also awarded the coveted Iron Surgeon title voted on by her peers in 2016. There are only two Iron Surgeon titles given to Mohs surgeons each year in the United States. Dr. Donnelly has completed an International course and is board-certified in Dermato-Oncology. She is the only Mohs surgeon in the Midwest who carries this certification. She has authored and published over 35 scientific book chapters and articles on Mohs and Dermatologic surgery."
