Meredith Polansky, MD

"Dr. Polansky, earned her medical degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine and completed her residency at MAHEC in Asheville. She began practicing family medicine here in 2008 after serving medical externships in such far-flung places as Borneo, South Africa, Malaysia, Haiti, India and Costa Rica. Dr. Polansky’s extensive background includes an emphasis in pediatrics, adult medicine, women’s health, sports medicine and emergency/urgent care. She also is a strong advocate for holistic approaches to wellness, having completed coursework in aromatherapy and reflexology. Dr. Polansky was the creator of The Healer’s Voice, an online arts journal for health care providers."
