"A graduate of Temple University School of Medicine, Dr. Weizman was serving as chief resident outside of Seattle, WA. when he volunteered for externships in Swaziland, Africa and Kotzebue, Alaska; experiences that left lasting impressions on him. In 2001, Dr. Weizman and his wife, who is also a physician, relocated to Asheville where he began practicing family medicine. Dr. Weizman has special interests in pediatrics, chronic disease management, international medicine and plant-based nutrition. In addition to volunteering with various non-profits in the community and participating in various leadership positions in the medical community, Dr. Weizman enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, reading, cooking, hiking and travel."
