"If asked, Dr. Bolden (“Dr. B” to her patients) will tell you that since kindergarten, she wanted to be a doctor. As she progressed through medical school, she gravitated toward family medicine due to her passion for caring for patients of all ages and being involved in all aspects of health. After completing residency at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC in 2011, she began practicing in Roxboro, NC.
Over the years, Taineisha always felt she was not fully tackling the needs of her patients. Helping people be healthy and engaging patients in their care involves many skills she feels she didn’t learn in medical school. So, she started a journey to become a better and more knowledgeable doctor for her patients. First, she became an integrative health coach through Duke University in 2015. Later that year, Dr. Bolden became a licensed Zumba and Zumba Kids instructor, and in 2016, in an effort to eliminate one barrier to getting physically active, she began teaching free classes for adults and children in Person County. She further pursued her fitness interests in 2017 when she became a certified group fitness instructor, and is now also a certified personal trainer AND a Board Certified Obesity Medicine specialist! WHEW!
All along the way, Dr. Bolden saw the shortcomings and drawbacks of insurance-based care. She looked for a way to marry her passion for prevention, wellness, and fitness with her day-to-day medical practice and her desire to provide affordable and accessible care to as many patients as possible. She realized this was not possible in the fee-for-service world where insurance companies impose their will on doctors and patients, and so AccessiBull Healthcare was born!"
