"Dr. Bennett earned his Bachelor of Science in Engineering at Duke University in Durham, NC. He graduated from medical school and ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas, TX. He recently completed his Cornea and External Disease Fellowship from Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia, PA in 2021.
As a cornea specialist, Dr. Bennett’s performs transplants including full thickness and partial thickness (e.g. DSEK and DMEK), corrects refractive error with LASIK or PRK, and treats medical conditions such as dry eye, corneal dystrophies, and keratoconus. He performs routine and complex cataract surgery. He also places a secondary intraocular lens in patients with a dislocated, absent, or malfunctioning lens.
He and his wife love to play with their dog Torchy, explore the outdoors, listen to vinyl records, run, watch college basketball, and play card games."
