"Dr. Shefali Shastri is an award-winning leader and educator in the fertility field, having spent the past twelve years practicing at a high volume, world-renowned practice. Dr. Shastri’s decision to join Spring Fertility as Medical Director of New York follows her long track record of dedication to providing exceptional clinical outcomes and an unparalleled patient experience.
Dr. Shastri is a board certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, Obstetrician and Gynecologist, and a highly skilled physician, patient advocate, and strong leader. In addition to putting patients first every day in her clinical practice, as a Partner at RMA New Jersey, she oversaw the Lead Physicians and satellite offices, trained physicians and nurses, and worked with senior leadership to establish protocols to manage clinical operations and grow the practice. Additionally, during her long tenure at RMA New Jersey, Dr. Shastri played a critical role in supervising and mentoring both REI fellows and OBGYN residents, responsibilities for which she has received numerous accolades.
Dr. Shastri holds a Masters in Physiology from Georgetown University and earned her medical degree from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed both her residency and fellowship at New York Presbyterian Hospital – Weill Cornell Medical Center in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Center for Reproductive Medicine and Infertility. She is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists and member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine and the Society of Reproductive Endocrine and Infertility.
Dr. Shefali Shastri is a skilled and knowledgeable reproductive endocrinologist.
