"Julia Frangeskos is a board-certified Physician Assistant in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She attended Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia where she received a B.S in Health Sciences. Julia continued her education at Thomas Jefferson University where she received her Master’s Degree of Science in Physician Assistant Studies, graduating Summa Cum Laude with highest honors. Julia found her passion for Women’s Health when she had the opportunity to pursue a clinical internship in Vicksburg, Mississippi to help provide care in the underserved communities. Julia had the ability to work on the labor and delivery floor, first assisting in cesarean sections and vaginal deliveries. She was one of the first to assist with robotic laparoscopic hysterectomy procedures, the most advanced noninvasive technology to this day. Along with working in the operating room, Julia had the opportunity to work in the women’s health clinic helping patients with fertility planning, prenatal care, and gynecological conditions. Julia furthered her clinical research and authored medical journal articles on Sertoli- Leydig Ovarian Tumors, a rare ovarian tumor arising from sex cord cells found in one of her young patients. Julia felt passionate to bring this rare condition to light, in hopes of helping other patients who are faced with the same condition."
