A New York City native, Dr. Lichtenfeld graduated summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. She earned her medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine before returning to New York City to complete her residency in internal medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital. She completed her fellowship in allergy-immunology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. She is a leader in the field of allergy immunology in NYC. Dr. Lichtenfeld was honored to serve on the Executive Board and as President of the NY Allergy and Asthma Society.
Dr. Lichtenfeld is an attending physician at New York Hospital and Lenox Hill Hospital. She teaches medical students and residents in the field of asthma and immunology and conducts clinical research trials from her office. Dr. Lichtenfeld has been recognized as a Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and is a New York Magazine Top Doctor in Allergy-Immunology and Internal Medicine.
Outside of work, Dr. Lichtenfeld enjoys family time with her husband, two grown children, and golden retriever, Roxy. She enjoys exercise, traveling, and taking advantage of all the things New York City has to offer."
