"Dr. Chris Gonzalez is a Diplomate of the American Osteopathic Board of Family Physicians in Family Medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment. Dr. Gonzalez received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University in Psychology. He went on to pursue his medical degree at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Gonzalez went on to complete his residency training at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, New York. While there, he also served as Chief Resident during his final year. He trained serving an underserved and diverse patient population. After finishing his training, he served as clinical instructor to both residents and medical students in the outpatient community health centers division of Nassau University Medical Center. He believes in the “whole-person” approach to treating patients, which includes an emphasis on health education and disease prevention."
