Dr. Adar earned his medical degree in the clinical neuroscience pathway from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate College of Medicine in Brooklyn, where he graduated magna cum laude and in the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.

Dr. Adar pursued post-graduate training in New York City, completing an internship at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in Manhattan and a dermatology residency at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn. He completed his fellowship training in *Mohs micrographic and cosmetic surgery* in Birmingham, Alabama under internationally-renowned Mohs and cosmetic surgeon Dr. Gary Monheit at Total Skin and Beauty Dermatology. He holds certification from the American Board of Dermatology."
