"Melva Brown is a board certified physician assistant whose medical career has been guided by the principle of blending clinical excellence with fervent patient advocacy. She is an accomplished and well-trained professional who began her health career pathway in Jamaica where she completed a Diploma program in comprehensive Food and Nutrition and then added to her curriculum vitae by completing a Bachelor in Science  in Nutrition at Montclair State University which culminated in the attainment of a Masters degree as a Physician Assistant  from the Rutgers University.

She is a vivacious, energetic and well-skilled clinician who greets you with a welcoming smile and listens to your concerns as her focus is a team-centered approach.  She truly believes that the patient’s health and well-being defines her clinical success. Therefore one of her greatest passions is nutrition and wellness and the integration of such into her patients’ daily regimen and lifestyle.

As  the founder and COO  of Your Wellness Care, she is a visionary and a strategist who demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills while pursuing the best interests of her patients. She is spiritually centered and practices medicine with kindness, compassion and integrity."
