"Bao Chau Tran, MD, leads the staff at BCT Medical Associates, providing pain relief for residents in the South Plainfield and central New Jersey area. His pain program is designed to provide acute, chronic, and postoperative pain relief and improve patients’ quality of life.
Dr. Tran began his career by studying healthcare organization and administration at the School of Public Health in New Jersey, going on to receive his medical doctorate from the Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Tran served his residency in anesthesiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. He received numerous honors, awards, and scholarships throughout his education.
After graduation, Dr. Tran has completed extensive research and given numerous presentations on anesthesiological topics. He has gone to multiple trainings for ultrasound-guided regional nerve blocks to treat postoperative pain. He stays up-to-date on research and developments in the pain and anesthesiology fields to operate his practice at the highest and most comprehensive level.
Early in his medical career, Dr. Tran served as an anesthesiologist in both hospital and surgical center settings. He founded BCT Medical Associates in 2014 and co-founded BCT Pain Management in 2016, where he currently serves as CEO and medical director.
At BCT Medical Associates, Dr. Tran emphasizes a conservative, narcotic adverse, multimodal, and minimally invasive approach to pain relief. He oversees a staff of multi-specialty physicians who offer their combined expertise to complex medical and pain cases. He and his team provide quality comprehensive care for those in pain."
