Sarah comes from a long line of family members in various disciplines of medicine. She was drawn to nursing for its holistic approach of whole person health and in 2009 became a registered nurse. She began her career in primary care at Concord Hospital's Internal Medicine.
After 8 year working in that capacity, she furthered her knowledge and experience by specializing as a family nurse practitioner. This provided her the ability to affect patient care to a much greater extent than before and in doing so, help improve the daily lives of many people as their primary care provider.
This transition also allowed her to seek out alternatives to leave the current “sick model” of practice found in many hospitals across the U.S. She founded Origins DPC to get back to the roots of medicine focusing on prevention and wellbeing through whole body healthcare.
Her practice is evidence-based but not one size fits all and incorporates responsible integrative health approaches.
