"S. William Pierce, M.D. is formerly board certified by the American Board of Family Physicians. Prior to medical school, he worked as Certified Nursing Assistant for eight years. During his residency at the University of Nevada School of Medicine, Dr. Pierce worked as a certified nursing assistant, which gave him a unique perspective on patient care.
In addition to his family practice, Dr. Pierce served on the residency admissions committee for the University of Nevada School of Medicine and as assistant medical director for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas Men’s and Women’s Athletics department. He also is an active member of the Nevada Academy of Family Physicians, American Academy of Family Physicians, and the Clark County Medical Society."
