"Matt Garris, Certified Physician Assistant/PA-C, is yet another "small town, born & raised, Healthy Human." Matt grew up in Humboldt, NE, with a population of just over 800 residents. He comes to the Healthy Human with years of experience in Family Medicine. He started his Family Practice career at MCH & Health Systems in Blair, NE. For years, he practiced in a small rural setting in Fort Calhoun, NE, where he was appreciated AND respected for his caring bedside manner and the ability to make many feel at ease, despite medical concerns at hand. He also has training in the Emergency Room, as well as Urgent Care.
After leaving Blair/Fort Calhoun, he spent the next few years in Omaha, NE where he was employed at a private practice. He used this time to continue building relationships with his patients, and he also received education in Hormone Therapy. He has a passion for restoring patients health and hormones, with a focus on Pellet Therapy in both Men & Women.
He is married to Erica, and they have a daughter, Chanler. Matt & Erica are "Jeep Lovers," which makes them a great fit at the HH. As Dr. Beckenhauer and her family share a fondness for the sporty vehicles as well!"
