"Dr. Darya Blednova, M.D. is a board-certified internal medicine physician. She wants her patients to take responsibility for their health outcomes in order to get healthy. She uses real-life examples to make it easy for her patients to understand the root causes of their problems, which encourages them to stick with their new, healthy behaviors. Dr. Darya is greatly interested in optimizing women’s somatic and reproductive health during their reproductive cycles.
She is very experienced with Whole30, Paleo and gluten-free diets, as she personally follows and prescribes them to several of her patients. She also has experience treating patients on both ketogenic and vegetarian diets. In addition, Dr. Darya is an advocate for intermittent fasting for patients looking to lose weight and eat better.
Dr. Darya grew up in Krasnoyarsk, Russia, where hiking, skiing, snowboarding, and rock climbing are a way of life. These are still some of her favorite activities, and now she does them with her husband and two children (ages 6 months and 3 years) in New York. She is a first-generation immigrant and understands the struggles that others face when moving to the other side of the world. She occasionally swims, lifts weights, and practices yoga, and would love to treat patients who do these, as well.
She graduated from medical school at Krasnoyarsk State Medical University and completed her internal medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center."
