"Melanie is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and graduated summa cum laude with a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Missouri State University. She was born in New Jersey, spent her childhood in St. Louis, and has called Kansas City home since 2007. Melanie graduated from Park Hill High School and attended Missouri State University where she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Upon graduation, she worked for 6 years as a Certified Emergency Nurse at a Level 1 Trauma Center where she met her husband. She enjoyed her time in acute care but decided to pursue a career as a Family Nurse Practitioner to fulfill her passion for promoting wellness and disease management and prevention. Melanie believes in personalized care plans to meet each patient’s individual needs."
