Dr. Nelson is board certified in Family Medicine, Integrative and Holistic Medicine, Anti-Aging Medicine, and Aesthetic Medicine. She also holds a post-doctoral Masters in Healthcare Management from the Harvard School of Public Health. Dr. Nelson previously held teaching faculty positions at Boston University and Harvard University Medical Schools, which she gave up to raise her children near family in Missouri. She came to direct care medicine to be able to actually see patients on her own terms, not on the dictates of large medical systems and insurance companies.
