"Terri Pounders, FNP-BC, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner at Internal Medicine & Pediatric Clinic in New Albany, Mississippi. She uses her education and years of experience to make each patient visit effective, efficient, and enjoyable, from infancy through adulthood and beyond.
Terri received her master’s degree in nursing from Vanderbilt University in Nashville. She went on to attend Mississippi University for Women, where she received a post master's certificate in family practice. She’s been working in pediatrics since 2002, as her passion lies in working with children.
Terri works under the supervision of board-certified physicians as part of a medical team that is consistently named one of the top-performing practices for quality in internal medicine and pediatrics in the Southeast.
She maintains her advanced credentialing to stay up to date with the latest advances in medicine. Terri is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
She enjoys spending her free time with her husband and four children, traveling, working with youth at church with her husband, gardening, and reading. Terri is currently accepting new patients."
