Tatiana Hamawi, MD

Dr. Hamawi is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and in Pediatrics. She trained at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York City. She completed her residency training in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Albany Medical Center in 1998 and obtained Board certification in both fields in 1998. She started her own private practice in Worcester, MA in 2002. For the past 20 years, Dr. Hamawi has been in private practice in Worcester, seeing patients of all ages in a no-rush fashion, listening to what they have to say, available 24/7, guiding their decisions, and providing competent, empathetic care. The ever-encroaching limitations and requirements of the current healthcare system are making practicing medicine this way exceedingly difficult. Not wanting to go down the path of shorter visits, more patients, and less time for each patient, Dr. Hamawi has changed her practice to working for you, her patients, instead of the insurance companies. She has formed a Direct Primary Care practice, which offers primary and preventive care in a way that enables patients to see and be in contact with her more easily and regularly, so she can help them improve their health and well-being. This is the solo practice of Board Certified Internist and Pediatrician, Dr. Tatiana Hamawi, M.D., where patient-centered care and seeing your own doctor at each visit is the norm.

We have been blessed to be open for 20 years and in 2023, we will be transitioning to a direct primary care practice, where we remove the insurance plan from the doctor-patient relationship and are responsible directly to our patients. We are currently accepting new Direct Care Patients.
