"Dr. Liaw joined Newton Wellesley Primary Care in 1997. He graduated magna cum laude from Brown University in 1990, and then from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. During medical school, he spent several months in an outpatient clinic on the Navajo Reservation. He was one of the founders of the internal medicine club in medical school. He then completed his medical residency training at the University of Vermont.
Dr. Liaw is an Associate Clinical Professor at Tufts University School of Medicine, a former co-director of the physical diagnosis course at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, as well as the recipient of the Allen W. Locke, MD and Mark Aisner, MD awards for Excellence in Teaching of Physical Diagnosis.
Dr. Liaw is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has been named one of Boston’s top primary care physicians by Boston Magazine."
