"Dr. Broderick grew up on the Big Island of Hawaii and was an avid golfer and swimmer in high school. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology at Stanford University in California and returned to Hawaii to complete her medical degree at the University of Hawaii in 1990. At the end of her residency in internal medicine at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio, she was honored with the “Stewart Fellow” award, in recognition of humanistic values in medicine. She served as Chief Resident, Internal Medicine, at the Cleveland Clinic in 1993. After moving to Maryland in 1994, she spent the next 16 years at a group medical practice in Olney, Maryland, before deciding to open her current solo private practice in 2010."
