"Alison S. Lee, DO, is a Primary Care and Sports Medicine doctor specializing in overall musculoskeletal health and wellbeing. She founded Leeward Health in 2020 with the goal of building something that both helps Mainers thrive and allows her to be the best doctor she can be by focusing on patients first.
Dr. Lee attended the University of Virginia, where she played Division 1 soccer and received a Bachelor of Arts, excelling in the study of biomedical ethics. She attended medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, including an additional year of education in Osteopathic Manipulative Therapy, followed by her Family Medicine residency at Abington Memorial Hospital. After residency, Dr. Lee completed Fellowship training in Sports Medicine at Maine Medical Center. She was previously a Sports Medicine Physician with Spectrum Healthcare Partners.
Outside of work, Dr. Lee enjoys coffee and food, playing pond hockey on their homegrown backyard rink with her husband and two children, playing indoor soccer, and skateboarding. She’s excited for post-pandemic hugs and hangouts with family and friends, and especially to sip an Oakdale Special sitting inside Woodford F&B."
