"Dr. Melissa LeBrun, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner that has over 14 years of emergency medicine experience in the Baton Rouge and Lake Charles area. She first obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Biochemistry from Louisiana State University in 2005. She then completed her Nursing degree in 2007 from Our Lady of the Lake College/Tulane Hospital in New Orleans, LA. Her nursing experience includes Emergency Medicine and Oncology. In 2011, she completed her Master's degree in Nursing from Loyola University New Orleans and became board certified as a Nurse Practitioner. In December 2016, she completed her terminal degree, Doctorate in Nursing Practice, from Chatham University in Pittsburgh, PA. Currently, Dr. LeBrun is an Assistant Professor at Loyola University New Orleans and Adjunct Professor at McNeese State University. She is currently completing her Master of Public Health (MPH) at Dartmouth University."
