Meghan Gaddis, MD

"Dr. Meghan Gaddis was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. Her desire to practice medicine was greatly influenced by her father, who served as a nurse and paramedic in the US Navy. Dr. Gaddis’s preparation for the medical field began in New Orleans at Xavier University of Louisiana where she received her bachelors degree with honors in Biology. She then went on to earn her medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center – School of Medicine. Upon completion of her medical studies in New Orleans, Dr. Gaddis returned back to her hometown of Lafayette to join the LSU – Lafayette Family Medicine Residency Program. The training she experienced during her residency further ignited her passion to impact patients’ lives via both integrative and traditional health practices and ultimately spurred her decision to join DS Family Medicine."
