Harish Ponnuru, MD

"Dr. Ponnuru comes from a long line of doctors in his family and is proud to carry on that tradition. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, as well as his medical degree. His Internal Medicine Residency was completed at Sinai Samaritan Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. During his residency, Dr. Ponnuru won the Humanitarian of the Year Award, Outstanding Resident of the Year Award, and served as Chief Resident for one year. Prior to joining Menorah Medical Center in 2004, Dr. Ponnuru worked at Barnes Jewish Hospital and in private practice in St. Louis, Missouri. He has a special interest in diabetes."
