Mohammad Ghassemi, MD

"Dr. Mohammad Ghassemi, M.D., (or Dr. G as he is known by his patients), has been providing top-rate medical care in the Kansas City region for over 30 years. In addition to managing a variety of health care facilities (private clinics, urgent care centers, emergency rooms, and holistic health centers), Dr. G has worked with the management and design of health care delivery systems in the U.S. and abroad, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Farsi. Frustrated with the endless bureaucracy of insurance companies and the resulting poor care of patients, Dr. G saw an opportunity to move away from “corporate medicine” toward a DPC model.

Dr. G and Homayon have brought together the region’s best nurses, nutritionists, naturopaths, and athletic trainers to create the Midwest’s primary integrative medical and holistic wellness center. In the spirit of holistic health, Midwest Health also provides a line of vitamins in order to increase patients’ overall well-being. As a continuation of Midwest Health’s goals, Dr. G and Homayon also work to deliver much-needed health care to vulnerable populations in parts of the developing world through their not-for-profit organization called International Medical Aid."
