Kristin Sands, MPA-C

"Kristin Sands is a licensed and certified Physician Assistant, a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and is board certified through the NCCPA. She graduated from Kansas State University with a B.S. in Science with a Life Science Major and a Minor in Biology. Kristin then went on to receive her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from Missouri State University.

Kristin has been practicing as a Dermatology PA since 2007 and joined our practice in December 2016. She has trained in the most advanced medical and cosmetic dermatology treatments and specializes in medications such as Accutane for acne and biologics for psoriasis. Kristin also is skilled in surgical excisions, biopsies, and cryotherapy. She practices proactive Dermatology care and recommends annual full body skin exams for the detection and prevention of skin cancer.

Kristin is an avid dog lover and travels every chance she can get. She was born and raised in Independence, MO and currently resides in Overland Park with her husband, toddler son, and baby girl."
