Catherine Cheng, MD

"Dr. Cheng has been practicing internal medicine since 2002. After receiving her medical degree at University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine and completing her internal medicine residency at the University of Chicago Hospitals, she served as Chief Resident for the Transitional Year Residency program at MacNeal Hospital in Berwyn, IL. She joined the medical director and program director's practice there, where she practiced until joining Northwestern Medicine in 2009. Prior to joining Northwestern Medicine Executive Health in 2014, she practiced primary care at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Northwestern. She is board certified in internal medicine and is a fellow of the American College of Physicians. Dr. Cheng is a national speaker on physician health and well-being. Her medical interests are stress management, social and emotional aspects of health, and health education. As of 2018 Dr. Cheng also serves as the Interim Medical Director for Clinical Operations at the Osher Center for Integrative Medicine at Northwestern, while she maintains her clinical practice at Northwestern Executive Health. She is dedicated to helping her patients achieve their best health through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach that includes special attention to mental wellness and positive health behavioral changes."
