"Russell completed his undergraduate studies in Health Science and Public Health at Brigham Young University – Idaho where he graduated with honors. He then obtained a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies at Idaho State University and was chosen to receive the Student Excellence Award. Russell began his medical career in the Magic Valley working in family and rural medicine. He has worked with the Eastern Idaho Public Health District and has spent time volunteering with regional hospitals and free clinics as well as the Red Cross. He is adjunct faculty at Brigham Young University – Idaho, teaching courses in Communicable and Noncommunicable Disease, and has precepted both PA, NP, and medical students. Russell enjoys urgent care, diabetes management, and diseases of the skin. He also speaks fluent Spanish. When not in the clinic, Russell enjoys music, family, and being outdoors."
