"Dr. Christopher Vaughn is an orthopaedic surgeon who joined Freedom Orthopedic, taking over for founder Dr. Thomas N. Joseph, MD in 2016. After completing his residency in 1996, Dr. Vaughn served two years as the Chief Orthopaedic Surgeon at the Winn Army Community Hospital at Fort Stewart, just outside of Hinesville, Georgia. He then spent 10 years practicing at Coastal Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Center in Hinesville before moving to North Georgia.
Dr. Vaughn completed his undergraduate work at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, with a B.A. in Biomedical Engineering in 1985. He completed medical school at University of Cincinnati School of Medicine, Cincinnati, Ohio in 1989. Dr. Vaughn did his internship and residency at Brooke Army Medical Center, in San Antonio, Texas from 1990 to 1996."
