"Urgent Care Dr Jerry Williams
Two years later, Dr. Williams opened Urgent Care 24/7 serving the Greater Savannah community with affordable, rapid medical care. He was driven to create Urgent Care 24/7 by his belief that the traditional healthcare system is overloaded, especially for patients who need non-life-threatening medical care. That practice has since expanded to several Urgent Care 24/7 locations in the Savannah area; Orlando, Florida; Athens, Georgia; Miami, Florida; Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas; Atlanta, Georgia; Tampa, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona. Outside his medical and business interests, Williams is rather a Renaissance figure. He works with Locks for Love, a Florida-based non-profit that provides hairpieces for financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term medical hair loss. Williams cuts and sends his own hair for hairpieces in that effort. Williams is also a distinguished historian who wrote a screenplay for “Bozeman,” a historical drama series about the founders of Bozeman, Montana. Both men, John Bozeman and William Mackenzie, were also Georgia natives who headed west as the nation was on the cusp of the Civil War. The production is beginning in early 2021, and Academy Award winner Richard Dreyfus is involved as star and co-producer. That same love of history introduced him to the life of conservationist leader and former U.S. President Theodore Roosevelt, who authorized the creation of the National Parks System."
