Dr. Alleyne earned his undergraduate degree from Tougaloo College in Jackson, Mississippi. He completed his medical degree in New England, at Brown University Medical School, located in Providence, Rhode Island.

After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Alleyne moved south again, to Nashville, Tennessee to complete a residency in Family and Community Medicine at Meharry Medical College. During his final year of training, Dr. Alleyne served as chief resident.

Before joining the team at ANWAN Wellness Medical Center, Dr. Alleyne performed multiple medical missions throughout Africa, the Caribbean, and Central America."
