"Dr. Z. Pressley Rice, M.D., FAAD, is an experienced, board-certified, and award-winning, full-service dermatologist at Dermatology Associates of Georgia, where she sees patients in the Piedmont, Johns Creek, and Monroe Offices. Dr. Rice offers pediatric, general, and cosmetic dermatology care. Additionally, she has specific clinical and research interests in atopic dermatitis and hyperhidrosis. In 2012, Dr. Rice became a master clinician and instructor for the International Hyperhidrosis Society. In the cosmetic dermatology arena, Dr. Rice is an expert in non- surgical facial rejuvenation, utilizing neuromodulators (Botox®, Dysport®), soft tissue fillers (Juvederm®, Restylane®, Sculptura®, PDO threads®), chemical peels, laser therapies, and medical grade cosmeceuticals. She is a 2019 and 2020 Atlanta Magazine Top Doctor Recipient and President of the Atlanta Association for Dermatology and Dermatological Surgery for 2021.
Dr. Rice was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She earned her undergraduate degree in Molecular Biology from Princeton University. Returning to Seattle, she attended the University Of Washington School Of Medicine, graduating at the top of her class with election to Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society.
Dr. Rice’s pediatric training was at Seattle Children’s Hospital and her dermatology training was at the Emory University School of Medicine in the Department of Dermatology. She served as chief resident in her senior year of both respective residency programs. Dr. Rice is triple boarded in dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and pediatrics.
Dr. Rice has over a decade of clinical trial experience, serving as a principal or co-investigator in over 30 clinical trials. She has several peer-reviewed publications in the top dermatology journals, including the Journal of American Medical Association of Dermatology, Journal of American Academy of Dermatology, and Dermatologic Surgery Journal. She has contributed to CNN and Fox News medical segments, Allure magazine, Insider, and Web MD."
