"Dr Elías Milgram was born in Maracaibo, Venezuela in 1946.
He graduated Magna Cum Laude in Medicine in 1969 in Medical School "Luis Razetti", at Universidad Central de Venezuela.
He then traveled to Boston with his wife Evita Brik, where they lived for the next five years.
He participated in a Post-graduate course at Harvard Medical School, followed by an internship in Pediatric Pathology at Boston Children's Hospital (Harvard teaching Hospital). Pediatric residencies were then at Boston Children's Hospital (Harvard Medical School) during three years and Boston City Hospital (Boston University) during one year. He became certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1974.
During the 1972-1973 academic year he was a Clinical Fellow and during the 1973-1974 academic year he was an Instructor of Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School.
In 1974 Dr. Milgram returned to Caracas-Venezuela with two american sons: Edward and Joel. His daughter Karina was born later in Caracas.
He taught Pediatrics at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, became active in the Venezuelan Pediatric Society and was involved in Pediatric Practice at Policlinica Metropolitana from 1975 to 2000.
Since 2001 Dr Milgram is in Pediatric Practice in the Aventura area, Florida."
