"Dr. Perez is Board Certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She completed her residency at Hackensack University Medical Center in New Jersey, where she received several accolades, including being awarded the best medical resident of her generation, as well as receiving recognition for research projects during her residency. She has continued to keep up with changes in medicine, and yearly she goes to institutions like Harvard Medical School and Columbia University in New York City to further enhance her skills.
Dr. Perez, besides diagnosing and treating common and uncommon problems related to the cardiovascular, pulmonary, endocrine and digestive systems, has a special interest in women’s health issues including menopause, osteoporosis and breast cancer. She guides her patients through difficult times in their lives with extraordinary empathy and care. She is also a firm believer that empowerment through lifestyle modification has a very positive impact on the lives of people.
An avid runner, you can find Dr. Perez running the Naples Daily News Half Marathon every January. She also enjoys music, traveling and the company of family and friends."
