"Kimberly Hamilton, MD is an ivy-league trained physician with over 24 years of experience in primary care. She is Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. She comes to Gulfshore Concierge Medicine from a thriving Internal Medicine practice at NCH Physician Group. Dr. Hamilton received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wellesley College in Massachusetts where she graduated with distinction (cum laude). She completed medical school at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, an Internal Medicine residency at the Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, and a Rheumatology Fellowship at Duke University in North Carolina.
Following her years of training, she practiced Internal Medicine and Rheumatology for 18 years in Pennsylvania. She taught Rheumatology to medical students as an adjunct faculty member from Hershey Medical Center. Throughout her 24 year career caring for patients, she has received numerous research grants and patient satisfaction awards for her outstanding clinical expertise, exemplary care and compassion.
Dr. Kimberly Hamilton has extensive experience treating complex and chronic conditions that include the management of high blood pressure, cholesterol, and diabetes. She focuses on preventative health including annual physicals for men and women, pre-op exams, diabetes screening, immunizations, cancer screenings, weight loss and nutrition. She provides comprehensive care for her patients and treats chronic diseases such as coronary artery disease, congestive heart failure, high cholesterol, hypertension, diabetes, osteoporosis, thyroid disease, chronic renal disease, COPD/Asthma, obesity and GERD. Prevention of chronic illness is emphasized during annual exams, with screening for common diseases an important part of her practice.
