"Robert Cava, MD, FACP, FACR, has been practicing medicine in the community since 1982. A graduate of Brown University's School of Medicine and Emory University’s residency training program, Dr. Cava is dedicated to providing an exceptional level of healthcare. His practice is known for bringing cutting edge medicine to patients in a supportive, caring environment.

A clinical assistant professor at the University of Miami School of Medicine, Dr. Cava is a Fellow of the American College of Rheumatology. He is board certified in Hospice and Palliative Care and re-certified in Internal Medicine, Critical Care and Geriatrics.

Dr. Cava is committed to continuing his medical education to assure patients receive the most up-to-date care and advice. He has been recognized by NCQA for delivering quality cardiovascular/stroke care and diabetes.

His mission is to serve as his patients’ advocate and adviser in the most compassionate manner possible. He started Miami Medical Consultants to provide the meaningful, one-on-one medical care he feels his patients deserve."
