"Mary Callahan, PA, received board certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, NCCPA, in 2013. She also holds Florida Physician Assistant certification and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, ACLS, CPR and First Aid, First Line Therapy Weight Loss, and Secondary Education Teaching I-Biology certifications. At Conviva Riverside, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Ms. Callahan earned a Master of Health Sciences in Physician Assistant Studies, Dean’s List, and graduating magna cum laude from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, in May 2013. She obtained a Bachelor of Secondary Education and Biology, Dean’s List, from the California University of Pennsylvania, in California, Pennsylvania, in December 2008 and an Associate Degree of Liberal Arts, Dean’s List, from Westmoreland County Community College in Youngwood, Pennsylvania, in December 2006. Her clinical rotations included primary care, Indiana Regional Medical Center; psychiatry, Southwest Regional Hospital; internal medicine and geriatrics, Excela Health; general surgery, Uniontown Hospital; women’s health, McKeesport Hospital of UPMC; emergency medicine, Conemaugh Memorial Hospital; and dermatology, Family Dermatology, Uniontown, PA. She taught biology, chemistry, and physical science in the Hempfield School District from January 2009 to January 2012. Ms. Callahan has been distinguished as a member of the Phi Theta Kappa National Honors Society. She is a member of the Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and is affiliated with Saint Lucie Medical Center. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, paddle boarding, and spending time with her husband and their dog."
