"Brandon Workman, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant. He also holds certifications in advanced cardiovascular life support, ACLS, and basic life support, BLS. At Conviva Wellington Family, he provides patient-focused primary care with a commitment to medical excellence. Mr. Workman earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, in June 2016. He obtained a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences, cum laude, GPA of 3.8, from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, in June 2013. Mr. Workman attended over ten clinical rotations in multiple disciples at the University of Florida Health Shands Hospital Outpatient Clinic in Gainesville, Florida, from 2015 to 2016, Pensacola Naval Hospital in Pensacola, Florida in 2016, and Comprehensive Health and Wellness in Gainesville, Florida in 2015. The specific clinical rotations included four weeks each in primary care, internal medicine, women’s health, surgery, nephrology, emergency medicine, endocrinology, critical care, primary care, psychiatry, pediatrics, and cardiology. Mr. Workman has practiced as a physician assistant in primary care centers since August 2016. He is a member of the American Society of Endocrine Physician Assistants and the Florida Association of Physician Assistants. Mr. Workman instructs and counsels patients by describing therapeutic regimens, giving normal growth and development information, discussing family planning, promoting wellness and health maintenance.
