"Andrea Brockman, PA-C, is Physician Assistant-Certified. She is also a Certified CDL Medical examiner. At Conviva Care Center Wellington West, she provides compassionate, patient-focused primary care professionals with a commitment to medical excellence. Ms. Brockman earned a Master of Medical Science with Highest Honors from Nova Southeastern University Fort Lauderdale Physician Assistant Program in Davie, Florida, in 2010, served as class coordinator for the volunteer medical clinic, and graduated with a 3.9 GPA. She attended clinical rotations in family medicine, internal medicine, emergency medicine at Wellington Regional Medical Center, OB-GYN, pediatrics, dermatology, cardiology, and general surgery. She obtained a Bachelor of Science magna cum laude in biological science, pre-medical track, from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, in 2007. She took part in biochemistry independent study and graduated with a 3.89 GPA. Ms. Brockman has been practicing in family medicine for over ten years. She truly enjoys taking care of the whole patient with a wide range of care needs across families and generations and places a strong focus on preventative care and the treatment and management of chronic medical problems. From 2012 to 2021, she worked as a physician assistant in the family medicine practice of Richard Hays, M.D., and from 2010 to 2012, in the family medicine and cosmetic dermatology practice of Michael J. Sinclair, M.D. She maintains a strong focus on preventing, detecting, and treating diabetes, dyslipidemia, hypertension, and obesity. Ms. Brockman has two young children and enjoys spending time with her family."
