"Dr. Freedman is board certified in Endocrinology & Metabolism and Internal Medicine from the American Board of Internal Medicine. Dr. Freedman received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada. She then earned her Medical Degree from The University of Calgary in Alberta, Canada and completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. After finishing her residency, Dr. Freedman then went on to complete her fellowship in Endocrinology at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.
Dr. Freedman joined East Coast Medical in 2004. She specializes in the treatment of diabetes, obesity and metabolic disorders (including thyroid and parathyroid diseases, osteoporosis as well as adrenal and pituitary disorders).
In addition to spending time with her husband and three children, Dr. Freedman enjoys Martial Arts and playing the piano. Dr. Freedman speaks English, Spanish, French and Hebrew. Dr. Freedman is an Affiliate Assistant Professor of Clinical Biomedical Science at Florida Atlantic University and has multiple publications in a variety of peered reviewed medical journals."
