"Dr. Mark Moore is a board-certified Florida physician with a background in anesthesiology and pain management. Founding Medcan in 2016, Dr. Moore was the first physician in the State of Florida to open a medical office dedicated to the certification of patients for medical cannabis.

Dr. Moore is boarded in both Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Medical Specialties, and his 20-year Anesthesiology practice, in a way, was a continuation of dispensing experience—via the intravenous route.

In 2018, Dr. Moore successfully completed the Florida Medical Directors course for Licensed medical marijuana treatment centers (MMTCs), allowing him to consult on legal cases regarding medical cannabis."
