He has experience practicing in a number of different environments, including as the chief medical officer of a rural Indian Reservation in Montana, as a staff model HMO physician, a federally qualified community health center physician, and his own private practice for 18 years. Throughout his career, Dr. Ramirez has been a teacher and mentor for medical students as well as other health care professional learners.
