Amy Merritt, MD

"Dr. Amy Merritt is a primary care physician who was born and raised in Hoven, South Dakota. She attended the University of South Dakota for both her undergraduate and medical degrees, and then completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. She has previously worked as a primary care physician in both Thornton and Limon, Colorado, and as a primary care physician and hospitalist in Slidell, Louisiana. Dr. Merritt believes in the importance of the mind/body/spirit connection, and that the healing of each component is paramount to an individual’s health and well-being. She has trained in traditional Western medicine and believes in coordinating care with other modalities of healing."
