"Tabitha Zappone was born and raised in Riverton, Wyoming just outside of the Shoshone, Arapaho Indian Reservation. Her grandfather, a Shoshone native, was instrumental in shaping her current practice because he exposed her to traditional and holistic health care at a young age.
Tabitha lived and worked in the remote tundra of Alaska where she learned firsthand about the challenges and limitations often faced in rural health care. Additionally, she learned to incorporate her patient’s Alaskan Native traditions. When not working in Bethel she rotated at Alaska Regional Hospital and completed her training in Neurology, Cardiology and Infectious Disease. This background has enabled her to provide thorough and comprehensive Primary Care.
Tabitha opened Alpine Medical and Specialty Practices in 2016 after the primary care clinic she worked at suddenly closed. Tabitha’s goal for her current practice was “to deliver patient care the way it used to be” which means spending time getting to know her patients and providing them healthcare that is individualized, personal, holistic and respectful."
