"Dr. Schober is Board-certified in Family Medicine and brings caring and compassion to the forefront of healthcare. She has a passion for holistic medicine and has training in integrative and functional medicine. Dr. Schober is experienced in women’s health, collegiate health, thyroid disorders, as well as the full spectrum of family medicine. She values a collaborative approach to wellness by spending time with her patients and building relationships. In her role as medical director of a university student health center, Dr. Schober advocated for a team approach to wellness with medical, mental health, nutrition, recreation, and fitness services all working together under one roof.She supported the Exercise is Medicine program on the UCCS campus and worked closely with the club sports athletic trainer. Dr. Schober is active in the community providing a taste of medical careers through workshops for middle school and high school students, as well as co-teaching a three-credit class for first-year pre-health college students. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband (a fantastic physiotherapist), two teenage boys, and their handsome dog, a coonhound-lab mix. Her hobbies include music, swimming, hiking, skiing, biking, international travel, and continuing to explore the beautiful state of Colorado.
