"Kelli Scott has been a Physician Assistant for 14 years. Born and raised in rural Kansas, she attended Ottawa University and received a BA in Medical Technology in 1989. She was a Medical Technologist in North Central Kansas for 14 years before returning to school in 2003 to obtain her degree as a Physician Assistant. She attended Wichita State University College of Health Professions in Kansas and graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2005.She began her career as a Physician Assistant at Salina Family Health Care Center in Salina, Kansas in 2005. There, she practiced Family Medicine, providing healthcare to patients from pediatric to geriatric level. In this setting, she was able to provide healthcare to uninsured and underinsured populations.In 2011, Kelli moved to Colorado Springs and expanded her practice horizons at Colorado Springs Health Care as a Physician Assistant in Gastroenterology. While there, she provided coverage in urgent care and family practice as needed. In 2015, she returned to Family Practice at Peak Vista Community Health Care Center at the Fountain Clinic. She joined PeakMed in 2016.Kelli enjoys caring for patients of all ages. She enjoys the variety of managing both acute and chronic medical conditions as well as providing preventative care. She enjoys pediatrics and women’s health and performs minor procedures in the office. She emphasizes patient education and the inclusion of patients in their healthcare decisions.She especially enjoys providing healthcare in the direct primary care setting as it is more affordable and convenient for patients, and it allows for improved patient relationships and outcomes.Kelli enjoys spending time with her husband, children, and grandson. Her hobbies include photography, photo editing, hiking, gardening, traveling, target shooting, and watching Wichita State Basketball.
