"Sarah Jenik, DNP, FNP-C, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner who treats patients of all ages for diseases of skin, nails, and hair. Dr. Jenik is proud to serve patients throughout the community of Colorado Springs at Skin MD Colorado.
After growing up outside of Durango, Colorado, Dr. Jenik attended the University of Colorado Colorado Springs on a full-ride academic scholarship, where she earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing with magna cum laude honors. Dr. Jenik then spent four years working as a registered nurse at Children’s Hospital Colorado in Aurora, Colorado, in the burn/trauma/transplant unit.
Dr. Jenik then completed both her Master of Science in Nursing and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Frontier Nursing University. She is board certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and actively participates in community and global health outreaches.
Dr. Jenik has spent the last two years working in rural family medicine and is thrilled to join the team at Skin MD Colorado. She is fluent in Spanish and welcomes the opportunity to serve the Spanish-speaking community of Colorado Springs and its surrounding areas.
When she is not working, Dr. Jenik enjoys spending time with her husband riding dirtbikes in the mountains, playing tennis, reading, and playing the piano."
